My main concern about this show going in was that Connie Britton was going to completely overpower Hayden Panettiere, and the pilot didn't do much to alleviate that concern.

I had the exact opposite reaction - I was let down by the Nashville pilot after all the hype, but I suspect it has better potential for the long run. Though I may just be preemptively preparing myself for Last Resort's cancellation.

Chicago Fire = Trauma with firefighters and Taylor Kinney in a different role. I guess NBC felt with the reboot of Spiderman, 18 months was long enough to reboot the show.
