There are definitely worse things you could look at for a couple minutes.

True. It seems like there would be a lot of things to oppose. Maybe people - whoever they might be - should let this one go.
Fantastic. More please?
Only the hopelessly perverse ones, Beast. They can't be saved.
I thought LoP was good. Not great, not terrible. Just good. There were some worthwhile images, some decent musings on the nature of belief, and an ending that could have been far worse, but it had it moments of being bloated and meandering and some delusions of grandeur, and a big chunk in the middle was almost…
ZMF, you seem like a nice person and all, but I'm worried you might be illiterate.
TBS keeps advertising that Jennifer Lopez is appearing on Lopez Tonight, which should be annihilated while we're at it.
Lopez and SATC
Please, no more Jennifer Lopez and Sex and the City. Haven't human beings been through enough?
Same here, God. Anyone who eats more than one of these abominations should just start smoking, get a motorized cart, and get it over with.
"The Stooges" (their debut album) is, for my money, better than both. There's no topping "I Wanna Be Your Dog"and "No Fun," and "1969" and "Little Doll" are both great.
"In retrospect, James Williamson was like a black cloud descending." ~Kathy Asheton
@ HM - agreed about the quicktime events. Completely overused, and completely artificial.
Dirty Trick
He could teach you how to lick your own anus.
Thank you for opening that door, Pink Sea. I find it mildly ironic that her name is Flo and she wears all white. Seems risky. Or is that gross?
@ Lemur: I agree with you. Anything involving Miley Cyrus should top the list. Her teeth alone should get her halfway.
Agreeable is exactly the right word. There's just not much to dislike. Time-tested, culture-approved pop music, lightly modernized, with a great voice. It's like the musical equivalent of a scone. But maybe that's because I'm eating a scone right now, and it's delicious.
The audience for an album like this would likely be small, and you're right, it would be tough to recommend. A big part of that - too obviously, I think - is that we're working with covers, not "original" material.
There's a lot to like here, I think. Not the least of which is Inara George's voice, which I find completely intoxicating.
Not too bad
I don't care for ZD's voice - a little too grating - but Volume One was pretty solid. This'll be worth a listen, I'll wager.
They make up for it with the size requirement, though.
