Brother Seamus

Season/book one was all Danaerys.  Her taming Drogo, her brother getting the molten crown, and her standing in the ashes with the dragons were major scenes.

She's the bell of the ball.

You blow hard!

Chi-chaw chi-chaw!

Loved this article. It gave gravity to an unlikely and probably undeserving topic.

How'd it get burned?  How'd it get burned?!

I don't think so.  I thought the samurai sequence (which we almost get to see in the clip above) was great, and the rest are decent at worst.  It's just not graphic enough.

I agree.  I liked it, but upping the graphic content would have helped.  Amp up the blood and gore, show 90% more skin, give it an R and be done with it.  If nothing else, it would be more stimulating.

more please
Been waiting for this review, and it's pretty disappointing. Forget the frustrations with patches and installations, repetitive quests, and the lack of feeling heroic - those are all par for the course among MMOs. Can anyone give more specific details about actual gameplay? Specifically…

Yes, it would be sillt. And who are you criticizing - me or Mike? Either way, it's probably accurate.

Yes. Expensive and "Gigantique."

While I can't speak for the other WoW nerds reading this, I certainly say that, for me, everything's okay, Mike. I'm smarter than you, I make more money than you, my wife's more attractive than yours, and I'm better looking top to bottom than you've ever been or will ever be in your life. And I'm modest! But we can

To get the coolest stuff in the game, you don't even need the expansion (or a high-level character), just the patch. The changes to the world after the Shattering, and the new playable race/class combinations, are better than anything, I think.

You're right, especially for WOTLK dungeons. You're still progressing through the story, even though the story's already over.

It's clear that Blizzard is trying to address that. Each of the new 80-85 zones has a primary quest line that has cut scenes, changes the zone as you go, and has an "ending." So I guess that's something. It doesn't help that you have to put hundreds of hours into the game to get there, though.

Didn't know much about it until WOTLK, but it's a pretty significant improvement, I think. Definitely gives the impression that you're having an impact on the zone.

Harrison Jones - complete with the burly guy getting killed by the propeller - was another good one. Great quest line, too.

Titus was great. The Tempest will be fine at worst. Calling it more intolerable than Lisa Rinna? Give me a break.

I'm sorry, I wasn't listening.

I assumed - correctly, I think - it was ice cream. Either way, it put me in the mood for a 20-piece McNuggets.
