The wealthy families are behind the Sons of the Harpy, she roasted one of their people in exchange for killing Barristan and some Second Sons and Unsullied.

Sansa has endured heroically without losing it completely. She saved Ser Dantos from Joffrey in the first episode of season 2 and showed a measure of kindness towards Tyrion and Shae which demonstrated she had matured through the tragedy. Then she backed Littlefinger in front of the lords of the Vale regarding her

So devilishly contrary!

I agree, but the reason Stannis has the arm at the Wall is because of the Iron Bank. Ideally Littlefinger could broker a deal between the Tyrells and Stannis. Shireen could marry a Tyrell like Loras. Stannis has the best claim, no matter how arbitrary that claim is.

The books were written before ISIS, but radical religious groups have happened throughout history. In the books they were more about women and perversion. The show is more about gays.

Jon Snow and Sam. Stannis and Davos? Bran and Jojen? Brienne and Catelyn?

In general I agree. But the show is hugely popular and some are saying it's the best show ever. So it's getting a lot of praise, if not official awards. The complainers are outliers courtesy of the Internet.

Sounds more like he's finding that people are overly-critical. There's a difference.

Cersei ain't too bright, bringing back the Faith Militant and sending her bodyguard away to Bravos. She's worried about the witch's prophecy. In the books, the Sparrows were more retrograde and reactionary by being anti-woman. Also Loras wasn't quite so out. The showrunners are connecting the show more to contemporary

The good doesn't wash out the bad, nor the bad the good. Stannis has a code! I'd bet he'd be willing to bend the knee to Daenerys, especially if his Red Priestess advised him to. Did you hear the Red Priestess in Volantis?

I'm a peasant in the street watching as the prudes yell "Sinner!" at HBO.

So the rebels were wrong to revolt against the Mad King because it started a war and he descended from Aegon who took the Seven Kingdoms with dragons?

Yes I loved the scene where Roose and Petyr were talking. They both have betrayed the Starks, why should they trust each other? Roose is justifiably paranoid now that Tywin is dead.

Next week!!!

I am really hoping Sansa plays the game well. Right after her father's execution, she saved Ser Dontos from Joffrey by suggesting he make Dontos a fool.

It's possible but I think he'll ignore his dad just like when he was not giving him his full attention while he was eating his food. He's too self-centered.

YES! Awesome catch! I love Marsay. And I also am a huge fan of Jodhi May who played the witch!

The High Septon in the brothel is analgous to HBO and the showrunners penchant to show tits and ass. The Sparrows are like the prudes who find it offensive. They are very upset about it!

" while Jon channels his father and delivers justice for Janos Slynt, suggesting each remain “Starks” even if they are renouncing the name itself in one way or another."

It's pretty cool how the North remains loyal to the Starks. Stannis calls Jon Snow stubborn and honorable like his father Ned and Jon takes it as the highest praise, but Stannis says it isn't praise and Ned's honor got him killed.
