Dany played the game pretty well. First she was traded like chattel by her brother for an army. She won Drogo over and became leader of sorts by surviving Drogo's funeral pyre and hatching dragon eggs. She gains Mormont and Selmy as advisers. She survived the Warlocks by her dragons and magic.

So George W. Bush hatched dragons and possesses magic? So he is idealistic like Dany and not a front for Cheney?

So she chains up her dragons.

It's a long-running debate, with the same shoddy arguments on one side.

The show makes her out to be good. Good people like Mormont like her. Her dragon burns a goat herder's goats and she gives him 3 times the market value. Sometimes pretty people are good, even if the ugly people like you are envious.

Yes Tywin was a realist. He'd send his "mad dog" Ser Gregor Clegane to burn the Riverlands and punish Catelyn's family. He'd give the Freys and Boltons assurances over the Red Wedding.

Haha, you trolls are funny. I think part of the Dany hate is caused by ugly fantasy fans who have never been laid. Cute girls are mean to them in school so they resent pretty women and how everyone fawns over them. I feel sorry for you.

She didn't kill everyone. If she did no one would be complaining or rising in rebellion. Arguably her mistake was not killing all of them. On the show there's that guy who asks that his father be taken down so he can be buried.

Good to see the lame, bitter commenters are back like every year.

Stupid comment.

I completely disagree. Why such sympathy for the slavers?

Haha, you're so, so wrong. A couple of other people offered up the theory. It's a good theory but only a theory. In other words I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be true. Kim was making a good argument over the phone. Chuck would have had to been okay with Jimmy working on the case. Just not at HHM.

Nope. I would say that Jimmy is more of the good guy than Chuck. Jimmy could have easily worked for HHM. Kim thought so and she works there. You don't. I'd take her opinion over your stupid Internet opinion.

Reading the Peter Gould interview I just figured out he was in Last Man on Earth.

Peter Gould at Entertainment Weekly:

"Jimmy pulled a 180 on the Davis & Mayne reason simply because he realized that that life, in that world, held no interest and no happiness for him. It's not an earth-shattering conclusion - a ton of people realize before or during their time as an associate at a large law firm that they won't find happiness there."

"Chuck was right. There's really no other conclusion to draw. We kind of knew it already, but some didn't want to believe it…..
Chuck did not drive Jimmy to become Saul. Jimmy was Saul all along."

A few people have been putting forth the argument that Chuck was right, people don't change. Slippin Jimmy would become Saul Goodman and not a good lawyer like Chuck. It was preordained.

Best comment of the thread. It's like when he figured out Chuck made the phone call and drained the battery on his phone.

You're an idiot. Why do you keep mentioning Peter Gould?
