Nobody said Chuck was just one thing. That's a strawman argument. You're putting words in our mouths.

Excactly, you seem to want to put Jimmy in a box. He was Slippin Jimmy/Saul Goodman and will always be those two.

God it's stupid how you capitalize words, just as stupid as your take on BCS.

Nope. The only reason he went back to Chicago was because of Chuck's betrayal.

Jimmy went back for a week only, then headed back to New Mexico as he had planned.

Wow you are really full of it. Jimmy showed he able to do the hard work. That's how he got the case. You just dismiss out of hand. Argumentative bullshit reply.

what a stupid reply. Smells like troll.

"but he has no regard for strangers,"

No you're just wrong. I hope they write it into the story next season, how Saul Goodman fucks Chuck and HHM over in some way and Saul rubs his face in it.

He was doing that stuff for himself and not Chuck. He was trying to follow Chuck's advice and turn his life around.

Chuck is wrong. Kim and Marco were right. (I liked how Ernie's face lit up after seeing Jimmy outside of Chuck's house).

What an unexpected finale and great season! I love Odenkirk but still was blown away by this first season.

Proving Chuck wrong would not have been as much of a fuck you as becoming Saul Goodman. For Chuck, the law is sacred. Saul is going to walk all over the law and get rich doing it. That's a middle finger in Chuck's FACE!!!

Yeah I was like the old geezer who finally spoke up. Just call the number!

He did spill coffee on the cop for Mike, causing a distraction. Maybe Mike is getting soft although it would be difficult to tell from his exterior.

It was like Mother Bluth.

I thought it was good because it was unexpected. Marco's death and bingo hell reminded Jimmy that life is short and ultimately meaningless. Better to grab the Kettleman's money than "do the right thing."

No upvotes for LionsFan.

Wow I didn't consider that at all. If that's the case - and it is plausible - the writers are freaking awesome. But it makes total sense.

I'm hoping he's pushed into becoming Saul by doing some nasty stuff to save Kim without her knowing it. He does appreciate her. He gave her the Kettleman case on a platter.
