No. It's John Constantine.

@Positive Comment - I would discourage you from assuming this is a misogynistic game or has any other particular slant if you haven't played it. This is made by people who are very, very far from the world of police procedurals and dead hooker slasher flicks. One of the two creators is a woman (to the extent that

(Obviously spoiler warning)

Magnusbarfod - Just grabbed the podcast, I'm really curious to hear what comes out of it. And though we haven't firmed up plans, I expect one of us will tackle Caprica when the pilot movie airs later htis month.

I think he's referring to my personal favorite painting, "Reclining Polar Bear in Snowstorm."

Also, I forgot to mention a story that Derek Yu mentioned from Dwarf Fortress. The idea of that game is to procedurally generate a community of dwarves, and help them survive in the wild by learning mining, agriculture, etc. All kinds of calamaties can affect them, and the dwarves respond algorithmically, generating

Thanks guys! And thanks for talking with us about this! I really enjoyed covering the event this way, even more than I expected. And I'm glad the topics interested people.

I was a little … tired when I posted this, and really didn't give Derek Yu credit for how elegantly he explained the appeal of a permanent death mechanic. It was a nice grace note at the end of the talk. And Spelunky really is a hoot and worth checking out. I know many people who are fiendishly addicted to it and

I got a call from a publicist about the OnLive announcement a couple weeks ago. The publicist told me I could see a technology that would "revolutionize the game industry."

If I could do something like that, I'd really dig it. The discussion around this show is always fantastic. I hate to single one out but I have to repeat this one from the first half of the season. In a few ways, it's weirdly close to what really happened.

Right here:

@Ted Merle Haggard - That's fair, I harped on the robot montage a bit. But my takeaway from the show is to try to figure out what's up with God's will, and whether this is a test for mankind, and what the real judgment on mankind is meant to be. I did expect to learn more about it. But I guess the point was that

Yup, I'm one comma-happy meatbag.

I liked Homicide's ending, and the way they ended Bayliss' arc. Almost made that last season worthwhile.

@Basil Wrathbone - Sold.

Cheese - nice.

Well, the brig's no place to raise a child …

Personally whenever I criticize the show, I'm basically saying, "What are the few things that made this less than one of the greatest shows on television?" Usually it's like I'm just catching typos. (Or unless it's "Black Market.") Ideally, I like to highlight things that don't work for me because they suggest
