louiebb - That's a good point, I forgot about that moment with Boomer and Hera. That was a great "last straw."

I don't have a detailed timeline in front of me, but 3 years old seems plausible. Especially since she was conceived early in Season One.

And you were right!

Astaroth - In my alternate timeline, it's Connors. But for you folks, it's fixed.

Wookie - I think it was clear that the Cylons on earth could reproduce pretty freely, but these 12 models are in a different situation. The seven skinjobs are completely artificial, and never mastered reproduction. As for the Final Five, it's not clear: they've been through resurrection, but that doesn't necessarily

Dollhouse actually got much better this week.

Yeah, that's more likely. But it really seemed like a slap in the face.

That really interested me too. If you set that beside Moore's podcast, it seems that the writers made Zarek kill the Quorum simply because they wanted the Quorum killed, and Zarek looked like the best character to get it done. But it was the most out-of-character thing he did that episode, and the thing that made

Okay, warning - finally listened to this today, and there's a major spoiler about upcoming episodes around the ~30-35 minute mark. There may be other things that would pass as spoilers.

Ron Moore's podcast is now up
Should come in handy:

S'okay, we're all part of the "we stay home Friday night and blog" squad. It's all good!

Aler - I've always defended "Signs" on the idea that Mel Gibson didn't see actual proof of the existence of God ; instead, he chose to see it as proof. Take the conversation between Gibson and Phoenix halfway through the film, where they basically say that faith is something you choose to have, and signs are the

Wookie - Actually, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they shoehorned in a Seven because they made the mistake of creating an Eight. But I'm okay with that.

Totally disagree, but I guess I said my piece. And remember, they haven't explained everything.

And Alurin, I totally agree about the moat and the laser - that's basically what it amounted to!

I thought the handling of his trial was clunky. I understand that Gaeta wanted to have some kind of due process, that he was rationalizing the mutiny by accusing Adama of real crimes, and that unlike Zarek, he wasn't ready to just start shooting everyone who got in his way. But they should have killed Adama

I should probably explain my formula for grading BSG eps, which is, I don't really have one. I expect to stay in a narrow range of B- to A depending on how clunky an episode was from week to week, with only a "Black Market" taking us into solid C or C- territory. I've been a much harsher grader, say, in the Games

Let me talk to the powers that be about the best way to do this, but it should be pretty simple to set up a post and discussion thread for the webisodes. I'll try to get that going to run alongside next Friday's post.

Yeah - we did change the count midway through last year, but now we're current with the Scifi.com page. And by the way, here are the podcasts, they've been a good listen this season:
