I watched the trailer before reading the article and expected this to be a behind-the-scenes documentary involving the real life cast and crew. That might have been sort of interesting. This, not so much.

The late 80's-early 90's was just such an awful era for pop music, but I still have some affection for it due to my being in junior high during that era, Paula Abdul, C+C Music Factory, etc. Those were the records that shaped me. I'm pretty fucked up is what I'm saying.
