Thank you for reminding me of The Tea Party and I, Mother Earth. It's been YEARS. The first concerts I ever saw were in Rochester and Buffalo in the mid 90s where bands like The Hip, Barenaked Ladies, and Moxy Fruvous had HUGE followings and we'd strategically position our radios to actually be able to listen to

Also, speaking of feuding 90's Canadian bands with weird ties to Western and Central NY: Moxy Frovous. They played their last shows in Rochester, then Jian Ghomeshi later did a little solo tour where he said some less than flattering things about the other Fruvous guys. I was at a couple of those shows and actually

Funny you say that as the Page/Robertson feud always had a bit of a Gabriel/Collins vibe to it. Particularly if you hear Robertson sing lead on say, Brian Wilson. It's like listening to Phil Collins try and sing anything from The Lamb. I don't mean this in an insulting way, but stylistically there was a misery

The second episode was "pre released" to promote IFC's new app. I'm guessing they went with the second since it seems to actually kick off what looks like a longer story arc.

Also: when did she take the California bar? That one is driving me nuts too.

I'd take getting Frank's Place or Molly Dodd on some streaming service somewhere. Really way too ahead of their time.

Whatever they do, I want to see Scott Bakula playing Al this time. He's about the same age Dean Stockwell was when QL started, right?

I can't possibly have been the only one amused by the fact that McNulty was drinking Jameson at the bar and apparently brought it up to the hotel room…right?

Total aside I suppose but:

Fertility issues were real, Showtime altered the timeline really significantly, which is unfortunate because I think it might have been more interesting to watch their children interact. Especially since from what I've read, Virginia was accepting expensive gifts from Masters even early on, despite her initial

Because I do not find a single one of her many characters remotely funny.

I masturbate to the teletubbies.

I once stayed at an Econo Lodge in Indy which had a bail bond place on one side and a white castle on the other.

WHERE HE DRANK A MIMOSA AT A JUGGALO STORE. (Seriously, google "Pimp Lights" where he checked in on fb)

Well, he is playing a drunk guy….so if you're gonna do that, this is the sketch to do it in.

Kristin Wiig is hands down my least favorite "popular" SNL cast member of all time.

Please note that Tim Meadows apparently was drinking mimosas at "Pimp Lights" in Indy. Google tells me this is a Juggalo Store.

My understanding is that in real life she did get pregnant with the cervical cap and his sperm. Of course, they also had two kids by that method by the time Virginia started working with him…

Nope, I was as well. I've defended a lot of dark inappropriate humor on this show but this one wasn't even remotely funny or well crafted…it was just "hey, there is a woman who is raped and Peter wants to hear about the sex!"

You know, as absurd as it is that Quinn can look at Carrie's medical records…I can actually forgive that one since the dude is black ops/a professional spy. Either that or he has the same software Dexter uses to do….everything. (Thanks, Showtime!)
