Hicks wasn’t a perfect comedian by any means(I always found his asides into 1960's LSD-soaked philosophy pretty grating) but presenting the dude who was infamous for absolutely eviscerating Desert Storm/Shield and the military-industrial complex in general in an era where that wasn’t exactly a popular mainstream

As much as I enjoyed S3 on a baseline level, it never recovered from Jamie killing the psychic.

Wait what did he say?

I’m really enjoying the gender-swapped Arrow/Overwatch bit with Mia and William so far. Young kid William was always kind of a dud, but Lewis manages to thread the needle of being both nerdy but also confident in himself, like early S3 Ray Palmer but with less affectation. Now playing

This is also the recipient of maybe the best Mark Kermode review of all-time. His delight is palpable.

At least when the REEEEEING fanboys start in on Russell she can throat-chop each and every one of them herself.

So he’s Knox Harrington from The Big Lebowski?

The rom-com version of Gone Girl we all deserve.

“ So did Roseanne, and Kevin Spacey and all the other assholes.

The conversation about Legion took a total 180 after the finale. Make of that what you will.

Not “auteur-y” enough I assume. It’s an excellent genre show that doesn’t really have the stamp of a total distinctive auteur vision and that’s apparently the only way you get noticed by pop culture websites now.
