As a fellow Avclub reader who also put in their two-week notice within the last week, I totally understand how you're feeling. I'm counting on my unnervingly positive attitude and work experience to blaze me through any upcoming interviews (that I may or may not have lined up…fine, I don't have any lined up, you got

Reminded me much more of Chalmers revealing that he's from Utica, but you're right, the timing was just perfect.

I really hate how they felt the need to explain how he got into that mailbox during the tag. I loved the random "Ted in a mailbox" gag so much, it worked better without any information as to how he got in there.

To comment on your first point - we're four episodes into the season. Bob Saget didn't narrate anything along the lines of, "And that, kids, is how I finally got over your aunt Robin." Not that I'm complaining, but I will eat my shoe in shock if this was the show "finally closing up" this love triangle arc. Ted trying

Because for the sake of this episode, Jesse was right there ready to be wired up (and possibly killed), in Hank's eyes. If Jesse's supposed new master plan doesn't work, there's time for Lydia to come into play.

You know what scares me? It's clear that Jesse intends to burn this house down, but in the future, it remains intact.
Walt has a gun and is looking for Jesse. I'm worried for the kid's future, judging by the end of this episode…

Aqua Teen season 1 is horrible, and I'm a big fan. It was the period where they took the "gang solving mysteries" plot kind of seriously instead of the later glory of the show just throwing crazy shit to the wall and then using it whether it stuck or not. I think it got really good around like season 3-4 if I'm

Yeah honestly, it's certainly been said by now, but I simply don't appreciate the timing and tone of this article. It raises some good points (specifically the fact that this is kind of a plot-heavy show at times forcing a sacrifice of character, although I would argue that that isn't a bad thing), but overall it

To think, she had to have gone shopping JUST for oranges that day. Is that her diet?

How DARE the world ignore the utter majesty of DiMaggio's Manly Dan character on Gravity Falls, the character that is defining a generation!

This episode was fine, and made me chuckle at time. But I'm just getting tired of recent Bender-heavy episodes in general (minus the fireman Bender episode, which was great).

Didn't all of his parts remain functional when torn apart in Roswell That Ends Well? At this point trying to figure out the mechanics of Bender B. "I'm 40% ________"  Rodriguez is pretty useless, really.

You know, when I opened this article and saw the picture of Lowe/Jones together, I thought to myself, "Huh, Chris and Ann never really had storylines together on the show, this is a pretty cool picture to look at. Like when Ryan and Stanley had a sales call together during season 4 of The Office, or when Jesse sat

@avclub-4c37107b9dedb73b90f677930bf7728b:disqus , true, but at the time they planned to kill him because, as Gilligan said in a recent interview, "Jesse was meant to introduce Walt to the world of meth, then quickly die." There's still hope that he could survive, considering the radical character development he's gone

Well Gilligan said, paraphrasing, that "for Walt it's a happy ending". So I assume it'll be tragic on the surface, but happy for Walt deep down in some way. Which is why I thought of the notoriety thing, but any other idea is possible as long as it follows his basic desires.

Since the show began I never thought Hank would die, especially considering his more heroic character arc…but I could really see that sort of thing happening.

Also, the season tagline really reminds me of that one Futurama episode. REMEMBER MEEEE

Any (wildly speculative) ideas for how the final season will play out?

Who are you, the narrator?

Given that this is the second episode of the season, and the last season ended with Jeff searching for his dad, I don't think it's THAT absurd. I would agree with you if it happened later in the season though.
