It actually is a really good movie.  I ordered a copy on VHS for my then-girlfriend (now wife [she first turned me onto Simon & Garfunkel, and our first concert together was the Paul Simon/Bob Dylan tour]) way back when I worked at Blockbuster, and I think I watched it more than she did.

Is there really any need to have a full musical version of American Psycho when we already have this?

Hearts and Bones is a terrific album, full stop.

Wasn't there a quote from him at some point that, when he's forced to watch The Sound of Music, he secretly roots for the Nazis?

Very happy to see 'The Undiscovered Country' get mentioned here.  I, personally, feel it's just as strong a film as 'Wrath of Khan' (though perhaps now with the added bonus of having not been practically remade by another film in ostensibly the same franchise).

Actually, I was kind of getting the impression that the guy is moving from foot fetish into vore, and isn't limiting his "fascination" (for lack of a better word) to her feet anymore.

Not true.  I have a foot fetish, and this guy (FEET) is just a douche.

….Gus?

Nope, Selarom….there's a lot of us.  We need to form a support group.

Count me among the Hitchhiker's defenders, as well.  Yes, it's far from a perfect movie, but I can't help but roll my eyes at anyone who's complained "they changed this", "they left that out", etc.  1, Adams himself wrote the script, and Karey Kirkpatrick has said that the majority of his "script-writing" duties were

I thought the Seether was Paul.

Well, that sucks.  I didn't even realize we couldn't like posts anymore.  When did this happen?  (And, more to the point- how will I ever know if somebody actually replies to this post?)

….and, just that quick, I'm looking for Butter, a film I never cared about, nor even knew existed.

You forget, @avclub-4e47f6a561dbe6724a331cf235f76e8a:disqus - Ramirez was, confusingly, an Egyptian.  With a Spanish name.  And a Japanese sword.  Yes- Lambert's accent was hardly the most distracting thing in the film.  (Doesn't make me love it any less, though.)

How about some some "freeze dried, fat fried, chicken-choking, motherfucking steamroller blues"?

Comment removed for taste considerations.

You don't say.

Hey, Lambert's weird nondescript accent worked wonderfully for the modern-day scenes in Highlander.  (Yeah, the Scottish stuff was fucking painful, but the accent in the flashbacks is the least of the problems with the franchise, so I'll overlook it.)

I think probably the greatest use of "Fuck" (and the greatest way ever to walk out of a job) comes from 'Half-Baked':  "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, and fuck you.  I'm out."

Actually (and I'd have to check on this), I believe Tennant was initially credited as "Doctor Who", while Eccleston was credited as "The Doctor".  Following Tennant's first appearance (meaning, from "The Christmas Invasion" forward), he was credited as "The Doctor", but crediting him as "Doctor Who" in the credits
