I would just like to point out that this is pretty much the idea I started floating when cast members started bailing towards the end of last season as being just about the only way they could actually save the show.

I prefer to use the phrase immediately after anything my wife has just said, in particular on occasions where there could be absolutely no sexual connotation. Occasionally, I get the proper response: "Ummm…yeah- that is what I said."

I thought about that- but frankly, I was more distracted by the idea "that the Torah explicitly describes Jews sacrificing Christian babies". I could be wrong (I'm obviously not as read-up on the subject as either Eszterhas or Gibson), but I was under the impression that the Torah was written pre-Christ.

It took me a LONG ass time to get back to listening to the band after I heard that piece of shit. It seriously turned me off of them, and I had to remind myself that this Skynyrd was not the same one that released "Curtis Loew" and "Simple Man".

This is something that I despise about how corporate some of the classic rock stations have become in the past decade or so: take a band, boil them down to two or three songs, play repeatedly. I can't remember the last time I heard "I Know A Little" on the radio.

Sloan are a band I don't imagine I could easily tire of hearing. Of course, maybe if they got the exposure a Mellencamp or a Skynyrd, and were completely inescapable, yeah- I guess an argument could be made.

As a Hoosier who grew up in Kokomo, I can do ya one better, @avclub-eb573591cef285c12701571987b08381:disqus .

I've only seen 5 (The Hunger, Top Gun, Days of Thunder, The Last Boy Scout, and Enemy of the State), and I've often joked (as probably everyone has) that Days was just Top Gun using stock cars instead of F14s, but they're really all great flicks. I'm surprised that Enemy doesn't get more love, and I suspect it would…

I think Evangelion should net at least two comas, though one doesn't truly become awkward until towards the end of the series when it's revealed that [SPOILER ALERT] Rei, the character constantly suffering injuries and occasionally falling into comas isn't making the miraculous recoveries we've been told she is, but…
