Truth be told, it's probably Whedon's "Astonishing" run (particularly "Gifted"- holy fuck, what a great way to start a book), "Dark Phoenix", and then "Age of Apocalypse" for me, but I know a lot of people love "Days of Future Past".

Didn't Murray say at one point that he'd join up if they'd kill Venkman, and he could just appear as a ghost through the rest of the film?  That actually seems like a fairly solid idea to me.  Between that, and Murray doing voice work on the game (which, incidentally, Aykroyd called "basically the third movie"), it's

I've said it before, I'll say it again, and I'll keep saying it until somebody fucking listens:  X3's issues could almost entirely be corrected by rescuing all the original footage, and re-editing the film slightly.  You know…so that you actually have a chance to notice character deaths.  It's really one of the first

Where?  All I've managed to get is some (probably 2nd or 3rd gen VHS rips) of the original series.  I haven't seen the 90's revival since it was actually on-air.

Have you tried letting the clips buffer the first time around?

Miami Vice was pretty much the first cop show I wasn't allowed to watch.  I was able to catch a few glimpses through various little-kid-means ("I have to pee", "can I get a drink of water", "the tv is too loud", faking sleepwalking), but it was the first time my parents wouldn't let me watch something that a 5-year

The Miami Vice theme was all kinds of awesome, but I (inexplicably) re-score entire scenes in my mind with the theme from Fletch.  It's not just this show, though….the whole of Beverly Hills Cop has Fletch's score, too.

Usually varied by class for me: art was always "Toy Story", American History was always either "Gone With The Wind" or "North and South", World History went with "All's Quiet On The Western Front", "Ben-Hur", "Bridge On The River Kwai", or the one time the teacher decided to show us something I don't even know the

Dear god…do you have any idea how hard it would be to find a fucking album with Ritchie Blackmore on it?

I may have made this point before, but it seems to be gone if I did: Signals has "Subdivisions", "New World Man", and "Analog Kid": 3 tracks I love…but the rest of the album gets completely ignored by me.  Similarly, Power Windows has only one track that consistently made it onto my all-Rush mix tapes: "The Manhattan
