@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus Complete breakdown of winners into the groups you disagreed (obviously this is just my opinion)

The fake idol was actually kind of a short-lived trend in retrospect. Did anyone make a fake idol after Bob in Gabon? I'm not sure anyone's ever considered it since or if they have it wasn't shown because it didn't end up being relevant

Well I'm more of a Cochran so 'cool' is really more self-delusion than anything else

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus Definitely. In fact, I think he was supposed to be on this season until Malcolm took his spot.

Don't listen to all these mean old people. I will happily join your youth alliance. Would you care to join me at the Cool Kid's Table?

My apologies. My LOST references are a little rusty

@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus Well I was working under the assumption that, as a good Survivor player, you would have a solid relationship with even players outside your alliance. If you're already treating people horribly you're fucked whether the tribes switch or not

Troyzan's not dumb. Narcissistic, deluded, and entitled perhaps but not dumb

Good points although I believe the inevitable tribe swap is gonna make that less important longterm than most seasons. Having tribemates you can trust is more important than having strong tribemates after a swap, especially if you're outnumbered

@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus Weren't they doing that already though? I seem to remember the Favorites kept sending Kathy over and over until she quit and feel like there were others who spent a lot of time there, even if it wasn't as much as Sugar

Wasn't Tocantins an Exile season after Gabon? Both were fairly uninteresting, Micronesia was the last (arguably only) season to use Exile Island well

Good arguments. I still stand by my original NaOnka/Purple Kelly argument but I would not be surprised if he was actually referring to Leif and Kat

I can't click on the link right now, but is it the Occupy Wall Street video?

If Malcolm is He Who Feels Probst's Tongue In His Butt I don't even want to imagine what that makes Boston Rob

How to handle hidden immunity idols is definitely the biggest problem with Survivor right now. It's basically just turned into a crapshoot who gets it, there's no skill or strategy in it anymore. I'd say it's a bigger deal than the Ponderosa jury colluding everyone complains about, since you know it's so hard to

I think that while we're all talking about the Klosterman interview we need to take a moment and thank Jeff for reminding us about Danger Dave Ball, one of the most underrated Survivor players of all time and the man who gave us this inspirational quote:

If I'm ever on Survivor I'm gonna turn to the camera right in the middle of an important strategic conversation and just go "Life moves a little fast sometimes. If you don't slow down you might miss it."

@JudgeReinhold:disqus You can use the certain spots quote to back up my Naonka/Purple Kelly theory as well. NaOnka was cast to be the crazy black woman (a stereotype which they've fortunately moved away from) and Purple Kelly was recruited to fill out a bikini.

I think you've hit on the major difference between Brandon and Phillip. Phil, for all his nicknames and craziness, is really very predictable. You always know where you stand with him and if you're in good standing he's not gonna screw you over. If you can deal with his narcissiscm and delusions he's really a good
