Personally, I saw no problem with this - but maybe just cause I saw it as more an expression of honest gratitude and a demonstration of what small gestures can do than anything else. Sure, maybe the kids are weirdly apathetic to it, but the only person that really matters in that situation is Olivia and how she reacts…
