No 2666?!?!?!?!
No 2666?!?!?!?!
Very nice! I never noticed that.
I really don't understand all the hating. This is kind of awesome. I mean, yeah, Queen nowadays is an entirely different thing than Queen back then. But Queen hasn't really been a thing since Mercury died over two decades ago; there has been enough time to get over the original Queen's being irrevocably gone. If…
Hahaha, fear not, Mr. Billingham: time heals all wounds. You'll be fine once that cast comes off in a few months.
Funny story about "Close to the Edge": my friend and I were at this pretty silly bar, filled with pretty silly people, when we happened to find that the jukebox had "Close to the Edge" on it. Besides being a glorious pinnacle of musical achievement and perhaps my second favorite song ever, its eighteen minute +…
This soundtrack was most definitely a favorite back in '94.
@avclub-f62296b9393b6ab9229ebde91ed8469f:disqus I think so, pretty much. I don't know MC5 very well, but some people say they're cool. Though that's really kind of one word with a number at the end. The Jackson 5 were pretty good, I guess. But these are exceptions.
MR. SELF DESTRUCT.
No cunt leaves here 'til we find out what cunt did it!
No Little Scream?

A torso on a trampoline?
I think that that theme is just masterful - absolutely captures the mood of the show, and perhaps even made it seem more meaningful in some way that it would have been without it. That Lydian chord at the end is awesome.
Yeah. I always enjoy reading reviews and discussions of music like this, but I have to say, if you don't actually know about the technical aspects of the music's workings, it is probably best to refrain from discussing them at all. Stick with the larger picture, y'know?
Damn straight! I remember being maybe 13 and staying up late by myself watching that on TNT and that scene just horrified me. It's so sudden.
Absolutely. Those two shots are just burned in my brain.
Mulholland Drive is full of awesome scary moments. SILENCIO. NO HAY BANDA. So glad Winkie's made it onto this list.
