Lived in Sheffield for a good few years and it's actually a lovely place. They've spent millions over the last decade or so to regenerate the place, knocking down all the old disused factories and mills and replacing them with shiny new buildings (which, sadly, all seem to be offices and poncey flats).

As a current citizen of Leicester I'm utterly horrified that one of our villages has been chosen to essentially represent the nation. The East Midlands really is the very worst of what England has to offer.
