It's not that I consider these events to be particularly cutting edge, it's just that all of them have received column inches on sites such as this. The evidence of this is that I never watch the show yet am familiar with all these incidents. It's far more than "trace amounts" of press, and far more than in recent

Most modern cartoons are just retreads of the shows from the 80s. There are new versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Scooby Doo etc, and they all use the same crappy angular CGI animation.

@Infinite Complexity - Dermot O'Leary is the frontrunner to host the US version of X-Factor so hopefully we'll be shipping him off soon too!

@sacrelicious - I've kind of gone full circle on this. Initially I had this warm nostalgic glow for the likes of He-Man and Thundercats but after rewatching some of them I realised how crappy they were. The only thing that restored my nostalgia was seeing modern kids TV which is a million times worse; pun-laden,

Is The Simpsons relevant again?
This seems like the most buzz-worthy season of The Simpsons in a long time, what with this story, the Banksy intro and Zuckerberg/Glee cameos.

It makes you ignorant but lucky.

Hey Mark, being involved in Boardwalk Empire doesn't get you forgiven for Entourage.

I started hating him when he did that fucking Killers video.

Will this He-Man update be 3D? It better be.

My bet's on Josh Brolin.

Add Battleship to that list.

Love Triangle
Gore Verbinski and Tim Burton should just have a cage fight to see who gets to keep Johnny Depp.

Sarcasm
I think it's safe to say that Take That are very much a modern day Beatles.

I think you're really reaching there. If that was the case then it would have either happened or been mentioned, now that the laptop is working it's clearly not relevant, therefore is never going to be mentioned.

Pointless Movie Remakes
I'm no Buffy fan but I can't understand why this is happening. Why remake/reimagine/whatever something as recent and as beloved as this? It's never going to live up to the memory that Buffy fans have of their show.

@Afghanistam - Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree entirely that Vernon is a "twatfaced goon" and has always been, but back when he was presenting T4 he was seen (by the media, and dimwitted teenagers) as being cool. Now, however, even his wife thinks he's a tit.

He started in the UK as a presenter on youth TV and was seen as rather cool and hip, then he decided he wanted to become a family entertainer and started presenting lame game shows (including our version of Family Feud) and is now an absolute joke. Good luck understanding his Bolton accent too.

I agree, the show did seem to portray Chuck as a pain in Sarah's ass for a while. I don't think this is the fault of Strahovski's performance, but of muddled writing.

The reason it was broken was as a plot device to utilise some of the supporting players. There's no valid storyline reason for it to have been defective.

I initially disliked the show's use of Morgan on spy missions as it seemed ludicrous and far-fetched…then I realised I was watching Chuck and that suspension of disbelief is a viewing requirement. Since then I can't get enough of the hairy little bastard.
