For some reason I don't mind when shows are blatant about their product placement ("take the new Sienna", "let's get a delicious Subway" etc), I find it more honest and less distracting than supposedly more subtle placement. For example in Burn Notice when the camera will show a close up of Sam getting a Miller

Ha ha, I'm so glad Americans can now hate Vernon Kay as much as us English do. He really is a huge tool.

If the show was just 22 minutes of him saying that, I'd watch.

Oh man the new theme sucks so much! The original version was superb.

What's the crack:funbags ratio? I hope she got a good deal.

No, just google it, go ahead, it'll be fine, honest.

Yeah, you're right. King's Speech is a 'prestige' pic so it doesn't matter if it bombs, but if Black Swan bombs then its chances will be harmed.

I know this is juvenile, but the reason I love it site is that the writers are free to curse like sailors.

Con/Pro
Con - Drug problem cost her fictional porn movie

Colin Firth & Geoffrey Rush film about a speech therapist teaching King George VI to get over his stutter. Yeah, it does sound shit.

@Bargle Snarg - It doesn't matter that it hasn't been released, it's been screened at various film festivals and therefore has been seen by many critics and film insiders.

I think The Fighter is more likely to feature in the acting categories, but with 10 Best Pic slots it'll probably get nominated there too.

The problem I have when it comes to listening to southern accents is that my only frame of reference is other southern accents I've heard on TV.

@Ack Ack - I, as a grown man, am not afraid to admit that my eyes welled up at that scene. Undoubtedly one of the most powerful and moving scenes I've seen in a long time. Brilliant.

Dalton's a great actor, and pretty much every role he's played since has put the Bond role to rest. Check out Hot Fuzz, for example.

With the exception of Happy Gilmore (which I still hold to be fucking brilliant), I agree.

Indeed they are or else Willingham wouldn't have been able to use them in the first place.

Never, NEVER, disparage Timothy Dalton.

Good work Disney
I gotta say…that's a pretty sweet ad campaign.

It's "you're welcome". You're welcome.
