@Penguin - I agree, same thing happened with Sandler. And even when Sandler is playing a different type of character (e.g. Little Nicky), it's still so obviously a Sandler-esque performance.

I'm sure they could buy/licence the rights. In fact I'm pretty sure ABC were looking at making it a while back.
@Fastandsloppy - As an Englishman when I listen to Lincoln in Walking Dead all I hear are specifically English vowel sounds, etc. It's when I hear these that I assume his Atlanta accent is slipping, which takes me out of the moment.
I don't give a shit whether people "sell out" or not (if such a thing exists). Something is either worthwhile or not, doesn't matter if it's underground/indie or mainstream/popular.
I'm not so sure about that. Andew Lincoln's attempt at a southern accent in The Walking Dead if fucking horrific.
Fables
Why are networks bothering with this shit. Why not just make a TV version of the great comic Fables instead?
Yeah, isn't she gonna toss-off some kid in an upcoming movie?
Yeah he was sort of camp in Pineapple Express. His role in O&R was a cameo so barely any time for characterisation.
@Arsenio - didn't see that one, so not sure.
I'd have been happy if this film was a time travel comedy where Kenny Powers and Stevie travel to medieval times to get high and slay dragons.
There was a good article about him somewhere (on Hitfix I think) that argued he wasn't selling out his indie cred for mainstream success, rather that he only made indie films in the first place so that he could get into the mainstream. If that's true then he's succeeded rather than sold out.
This film will earn $50m at the box office, sell well on DVD, and be a college student/pot-smoker cult favourite for years to come.
Not if it's Natalie Portman's butt.
I just expected McBride's to be ear-rapingly bad, so was surprised to find that it's utterly inoffensive.
Accents
I'm amazed that McBride's English accent really isn't too bad. Franco's, however, is shit.
You could broaden that out to an Inventory feature of biggest movie stars paycheck pics. Although I suspect this list has been done elsewhere (possibly even here).
Rick Deckard wasn't a cowboy, and he was badass.
I now know what my next itunes purchase will be.
I'm with Rev here. A wee strip of cloth up the ass is close enough to naked for me.
He used to come across in interviews as grumpy, but now he just seems confused. I think senility is setting in.
