I'm with you, @avclub-99b410aa504a6f67da128d333896ecd4:disqus .  The problem isn't that he's grating and dissonant, it's that he's just dicking around.  Hopefully he can act as a gateway drug introducing teenagers to REAL grating dissonance like Venetian Snares or Iannis Xenakis.
