I thought it was pretty hokey at first, but by the end of the show's run, it was perfect. But as far as quasi-Westerns go, Deadwood's theme wins always.

And let's not forget his awesome stint on Mad Men S3.

There was the movie with Robert De Niro that looked like a real stinker. I want to believe it was straight to video, but I remember the embarrassing commercials.

"Cheerleader" is the one that gets stuck in my head all day long. And I'll be honest: I don't mind at all. 

My favorite episode is still "new neighbors," which I think did the best job of exploring the characters and maybe not surprisingly, was also the funniest. (Plus, minimum baby.)

Good to know. I'll give it another whirl, hopefully having got through the tedious "close up on his/her eyes" parts. I've heard from more than a few people how great the second film is.

I haven't seen ANY of the Halloween films. Sort of the weird gap in my movie watching history, as my parents were huge into horror movies. I saw all the Nightmare on Elm Streets, but none of the Halloweens. Sounds like a discussion worth having around the Thanksgiving table this year!
