He could only be better if he posted more regularly on Twitter. More Martin Starr, I say!

You were magnificent, which means that statistically, magnificent is average and you were average.

Constipated mouth turds is my new favorite phrase.

Most useless judging panel ever? Throw in Robin Antin, and this is it.

I just finished the ADC interview yesterday. There is no way this guy has any sense of self-awareness. That made him really entertaining to listen to, but it definitely wasn't a WTF that made me feel any differently about him. And I too (like a lot of you) felt like Maron just didn't want to push him at all, but that

I thought it was a lovely solo, but it was no Brandon in black tighties dancing to "O Fortuna."

That hip hop routine was ok, but mostly because of Twitch.

Magnicifent!

Her direction arcs are making me increasingly woozy.

On my musical radar this year:

This is good - Clarkson's been falling into a rut of roles lately with the description like "lovable, free-spirited mother who is basically perfect."

If a 30 Rock walkthrough doesn't happen, Tina Fey's book devotes some time to the writers room and the writing process on the show.

I felt the same way there was some hesitancy and few moments that weren't in sync. The concept was wow, the dancers were wow, but the dance (as performed tonight) didn't totally wow me.

Guest Judges
I'm still iffy on the celebrity guest judges this season — they mostly seem to either contribute nothing to the critique (Rob Marshall) or they take away from the focus on the dance/dancers (Gaga).

I think it will end with Melanie on top (ahem). I think Sasha has lots of fans, but Melanie seems to inspire more of a fervent response, which will lead to more votes. I think that's partly why Nigel deemed Sasha his favorite early tonight, then once Melanie danced, switched to her (it's also partly due to him being

Damn, Alex Wong. The universe does NOT want you to be a dancer.

Cat's the most consistently awesome thing on the show. I want to bottle her and then open up said bottle whenever I feel down.

I think Todd Hanson's intensity and honesty brought out the best in Maron as interviewer. I like the show best when he's digging deep into someone's past and the conversation here is probably the heaviest one he's ever had with someone on the show.

I imagine them having a park bench instead of a couch in their living room.

Oliver's Ryan-shaped soft spot
I didn't get to see last night's episode, but based on the clips they showed, I think the Ryan-Ricky zombies dance looked like the most interesting of the night. Honestly, as pretty as a floaty contemporary routine with synchronized leaps and hands reaching for that which will never be
