Curly, Maron has tweeted that Kimmel is happening soon.

JCrowemancer, I'm with you on Bobby Lee. It started so awkwardly and giggly, and then, THAT story came pouring out of Lee. Gripping stuff.

Judges, et al
In past seasons, I've had a lot of respect for the judging panel, whatever their shortcomings, because they were interested in talking about the dancing. Maybe it's still too early in the season, but the critiques/judging comments haven't seemed substantive at all. There hasn't been much in the way of,

Both dances were incredibly beautiful and entertaining performances. I didn't miss LMFAO or equivalent pop singer/group promoting a crappy single at all.

I thought it was funny how Chris just nodded along with Nigel praising the genius of his woodpecker routine. I thought he'd look confused, at least for a split second, but nope. No real reaction.

I wouldn't say it's a straightforward children's episode, only because the ending is so morally ambiguous. The moral seems to be something like, "If you have to lie to keep people from bickering, then go for it!" Don't get me wrong, I like that it's morally ambiguous, but it's an unusual choice for a show like this.

I think it's funny when old people fart. And cats.

They also wouldn't be so obnoxious if they weren't TERRIBLE to see live. By a cruel twist of fate, I've had to endure four separate concerts of theirs (August- and Recovering-era only) and each one was progressively worse. They really suck when it comes to acting like they care about anything they're doing. It could

I like Timberlake. He seems funny and creative, and really entertaining, so it makes sense he'd avoid getting locked into being simply a pop star. He seems to be taking the Frank Sinatra track in his career…and if you can, why not?

The driving concept seems to be: "How cheaply can we make this and still come off as referential and artistic to her little monsters?".

On Friday night, it was Super 8, which I thought was a very fun way to spend a Friday night - my husband disagreed, but only because he honed in on the plot holes (elitist!). I went to be entertained, and the movie does a fine job on that front. Maybe buying him popcorn would've eased the blow of summer movie logic.

When Maron mentioned that Fallon had an acquaintance with Mick and Keith, I expected that it might translate into some passive-aggressive conversation on that topic. But I think Fallon's such a genuine fan and so in awe of working with them that Maron didn't feel as jealous as he may have otherwise. Either way, a fun

I love the original Aussie version. Based on what I've heard, the American version has a much more direct reason for Wilfred, as in Elijah Wood's Ryan is in a suicidal depression vs. Adam Zwar's Adam, who's just an unemployed actor and kind of a deadbeat. It's probably best they went this route, as I'm not sure that a

I saw him in concert recently and couldn't believe what an amazing guitarist he is. It bums me out that he doesn't do much new music. You'd think with the amount of money he has, he'd be cranking out tons of music that he'd distribute himself.

The whole thing is kind of a bummer. I remember there being some really exciting dances on the first week of the competition mostly because there were these pairs that were both required to dance out of their styles, or at least with choreography that was outside their usual M.O.

Lady Gaga's video
It seems like the whole logic behind it was to see how cheaply they could make a video that would still come off as artistic and edgy to Gaga's followers.

Hip hop
Have to disagree a bit on the new hip hop guy — his choreography was my least favorite of the night. I think it was combination of the awful costumes, a way-too-recognizable pop song all chopped up and the fact that I didn't feel anything resembling chemistry between the dancers. The hip hop routines felt

Comedies
I'm with Todd here — there are a whole lot of comedies that I make sure to see each week, but very few dramas and none that aren't a few years into their runs.

Yeah, it's just like that Elliot Sharp guy - his objectivity on NKOTBSB is so annoying.

I hope that if Donald Glover submitted something for an Emmy nomination, it was Mixology. He just nails the absurd humor of becoming an adult in every single scene.
