How Do You Know
One of the things that really turned me off about How Do You Know was its commercials. The more time I saw the commercials, the more I was like wtf is this movie about? By the time the movie was released, the commercials had annoyed me so much that I didn't care to find out.

It gets better…
Because SyFy's going to broadcast a performance on TV!

I'm with OP on the matter - Take the Cannoli and The Partly Cloudy Patriot were much more interesting reads. I think she's better at taking on smaller subjects in essays vs. huge ones in book form. I've always loved the essay where she paid to learn how to be Goth and achieved pink level.

Come on, Affleck, get on hiring this guy!

I'm with you, SarCCastro. I didn't enjoy a lot of the third book, but I thought that Collins really nailed the ending. It fit the story she was trying to tell and I, too, liked that Katniss had to grapple for years with what happened to her as a teenager. Because let's be honest, all of that would really mess a person

@Murray, you're right, they're both good shows. I just get steamed at the way NBC talks about P&R. It's usually somewhat dismissive, like, "Hey, everyone, this show is okay because it's like The Office!"

I want to watch Fringe, but watched the first four episodes and was BORED. Tell me - can I skip ahead to a more interesting, less MOW point?

Greenblatt: "Parks And Recreation has come into its own this season as the rightful companion to The Office."

They needed an actress who could scowl and furrow her brow a lot and not look totally heinous when bloody. Jennifer Lawrence? Check.

By husband, I meant my cat, obviously.

My husband couldn't get into them, but I really enjoyed the first and second books. The action scenes are pretty great and well-written. I thought there were some real schmaltzy elements, though, particularly the roll-your-eyes-every-time-it's-mentioned love triangle.

Just watched Archer for the first time, thanks to Netflix Instant. So much funnier and smarter than I expected.

Boo
Hiss.

David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman will have a guest monologue where she sings about following your dreams in the big city.

This musical should be called Julie Taymor's Vietnam.

wtf
Ides of March opening? Did Julie Taymor really think that one through?

You're right, it does depend on the store. I was thinking of my local comic book store, where the guys who run it are knowledgable and friendly and full of good recommendations, but in their eagerness to point me toward every single series THAT MUST BE READ IMMEDIATELY, the whole experience Noel's talking about gets

Ditto. I just can't believe that this column deems the Sucker Punch trailer as less tolerable than a Tyler Perry trailer.

Play
I actually prefer drifting around online stores vs. brick-and-mortars. There's something about being in most actual stores that keeps me from lingering and digging around for too long, whereas I'm likely to spend much more time online, exploring and finding what interests me. Because of that, online buying is

C'mon, she did it for The Office…so that counts for something. Right?
