Why on Earth would she let people know if that scene was faked? It's the only reason most people have any idea who she is.

I personally am of the opinion that the characters played by Rogen, Heigl, Rudd and Mann were all kind of unpleasant and unlikeable.

I'm with you, Sybil. In fact, I just expressed my surprise at all the hate it gets around here in the Lennon/Garant newswire post. It was a Secret Success, IMO.

Can I just remind everyone here that Apatow didn't create F&G? He was an EP, sure, but if you read Paul Feig's books, you'll realize that pretty much all of that awkward awesomeness in F&G is essentially ripped from Feig's life. That show was his baby, and I find it increasingly odd that everyone seems to attribute

Supposedly, both the book and the music are really bad, i&1.

I've been thinking about picking that up after Christmas. I've never played one before, but I do like me some stealth gaming and I keep hearing how fun they are.

@ Battlestar — The Producers does mostly show how the financing for musicals actually happens. A proposal for a show is made and is then shopped around to prospective investors (i.e. wealthy folks who are into the arts). If you want to back it, then you invest. If you don't, you pass.

Elastica were SO much like Wire that Wire sued them for plagiarism and received an out-of-court settlement.

@ way late — That's what's important here — the implication of danger.

I didn't know that Arj Baker did stand-up, let alone had an album out. I loved him on FotC. Might have to check that out if it's good…

Kunis
I have to say, I'm kind of surprised that she seems to have turned out to be the biggest star from the 70s Show bunch. I figured it would have been Topher Grace or Laura Prepon, but they seem to have fallen off the face of the planet.

I had no idea there were Bungle fans who disliked Disco Volante. That album is amazing. One of my greatest drug memories was seeing Bungle live on a shitload of mushrooms. They really started kicking in just as the band started in on Desert Search For Techno Allah. I seriously thought the club we were in was going to

It's the Golden Globes, folks. You only get nominated if you're willing to schmooze and gift and glad-hand the Eurotrash reporters who come to the set looking to be schmoozed and gifted and glad-handed by Hollywood celebs. These awards have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the work.

The Sam Mendes production in Brooklyn earlier this year was pretty amazing. Stephen Dillane made an excellent Prospero, IMO. (I have to admit though, this isn't one of the Shakespeare's that I know very well at all (never having seen it or read it before that) so that may have been why I was so dazzled.)

TV Development
"Now that he's been in TV for 20 years solid, I'm sure he's used to the whole thing"

@ dgl — Robert Downey, Jr. says hello.

I still have a hard time believing that was actually JG in Ratatouille. It really sounds nothing like her. I'm generally not a huge fan of hers, but that was some good voice work there.

I really liked List of 7; I never read 6 Messiahs though as the prevailing word on it seems to be that it was pretty disappointing.

Sounds more like a shitty version of The List of 7.
