No, no, this one is slightly different.

Cool thought, Nick.
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that when Christian's coffin/body were brought to the Island on 815 that that was NOT his first visit there.
They've been doing a fair amount of stalling, IMO.
Scott was killed by Smokey — or, at least, everything points to that.
Really, Jeff Probst? You're giving it an A simply for a reference to an earlier show?
I'm certainly not checking them off a list. (That box was checked back in '93 ('94?) and then again in '95.)
@ Robuttnik — I'm with you on Taken. It wasn't a classic like Citizen Kane (obviously), and it wasn't even a classic actioner like Predator or something, but I thought it worked just fine as what it was — an action film in the revenge genre with a believably bad-ass performance by Neeson, some globetrotting intrigue…
Speaking as someone who's just recently re-watched the whole thing, it absolutely does cast everything that's come before in a different light.
No smoke columns in The Stepfather, Lone, but Terry O'Quinn does play a violent psychopath who is an impostor and a master of disguise. Definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of O'Quinn.
I think it's kind of cool that they've basically set things up so that Terry is now basically playing his character from The Stepfather.
Glad somebody else mentioned Bandwagon.
I stand corrected! Hadn't watched the 1st eps of S2 or S3 for a while. They do indeed open with Des and Juliet's eyes.
I've seen S7 3 or 4 times; it's generally pretty entertaining. Funny, shocking, poignant by turns. I'd definitely recommend it if you're intrigued by the premise.
@ Harvard Prof — The premise is actually a little different, but I believe the film you're referring to is called Series 7: The Contenders. 5 people are randomly selected to hunt each other down and kill for a popular reality show. (Narrated by the unknown-at-the-time Will Arnett!)
@ Pimphand — Huh? Are you unfamiliar with chiastic structure?
@ Lone — Well, the rumors were just unsubstantiated gossip stuff, but before the lawsuit was filed there were a number of blind items, etc., that seemed to indicate that HIC likes to get his grope on so to speak.
Let's not forget that Henry Ian Cusick is currently being sued for sexual harassment and battery by an employee of ABC/Lost. That's not something the producers will want overshadowing their overarching finale. (Not to mention the rumors flying about HIC before the lawsuit about his inappropriate behavior on set).
I'll take that bet.
Kid A
I had to watch this film several times in film school for a paper I was writing. On the third viewing, I desperately needed a new soundtrack to hold interest.
