…neither did I, until you mentioned it.

And the faded planet logo!

"But…***I'm*** white!"

Mother Teresa called; she hates you.

It was so nice of them to give that dead girl her job back.

Rowsdower, I, uh, swallowed the knife.

DEEP HURTING

I have a soft spot for Al Pacino's "Looking for Richard," although I haven't seen it since it was in theaters. It's kind of fun to watch Al release his inner drama club geek on screen.

I must confess I've been listening to that Omega song all morning:

Seriously, nobody's that straight.

The A.V. Club: I'm too busy ejaculating to comment.

No, she didn't.

Admittedly not a very high bar to clear.

Oh God; I listened to this for about a year after the Great Breakup of 2003. I don't think I've been able to listen to it all the way through since then. Too many memories.

Dirty Projectors started at 7; the National came on around 8:30.

Saw these guys last night with Dirty Projectors, and yeah, Matt's voice was clearly a little worn out. But it was still a great show. If you haven't seen them live, check them out next time you get a chance.

Man, I totally forgot all about that guy. I'm going to need to do a reread before the next season airs.

Lots of discussion in this episode about the gap between the highborn and the proles, most notably in the Davros/Gendry and Varys/Shae conversations. Todd likes to talk about each season having some overarching theme or idea that runs through it; I wonder if this might be the theme for Season 3? You could make a case

A hard one, to be sure, but let's say:

"…in his final scene with Rory, he does a magic trick, for god’s sake. A MAGIC TRICK."
