    Even the famously grumpy David Simon gave Wire fans a bit of a happy ending with Bubbles. Of all the BE characters, Richard's probably got a better chance than anyone else.

    A lot of people describe it as a pro-life song (possibly because of Parker's own rather conservative politics), but I think it's considerably more nuanced than that description would suggest.

    Yes, of all the superheroes, the one who just goes around shooting people is somehow the one who trips them up time and time again.

    It's just too much story for a 2 1/2 hour movie. Stick with the far superior miniseries.
