bwahaha.

Ds9 wasn't really strategically important at all until the wormhole opened up (it wasn't there until events during the first episode). Yeah, it was out by bajor, but that was the backwater of space no one cared about (they certainly hadn't prevented a lengthy occupation by evil alien overlords, though when exactly

Clive Barker's Jericho???!
Okay, I get that he mentions in the article a moment where Barker said something to him about videogames (as if a lot of other people haven't recently). But out of all the games you could think of to, well look at screencaps of and not play, Jericho is one of the worst. Sure, there might not

Wow, am I jumpy.

@Banmar

[SPOILER]!!!!!

Is the definition limited to what's developed a "cult following" in the U.S? Might be a tad hasty to say that.

Don't.

I did see the remake… ugh. Thankfully I saw it after seeing Sisters, so I wasn't in any way spoiled.

Maybe it's more that comedians whose life stories you know much about are because they are quirky/messed up and it just seems natural to the profession given the nature/content of a lot of current comedy.

It is one of my all time favorite movies. Great movie, great shots, great score.
One of the best sequences involving a bag of all time (can't really say any more about that).

This movie really strikes a chord with me.
Every time I watch it it gets me pretty emotional- there is definitely tension/fear from the general tone and setting of the film but it also evokes this deeper connection with the tragic tale of these sisters both with them as well as a broader theme much like a folktale

Well not internet snarkiness for one thing. Or piracy for the following reason.

Actually, read the latest goal sheet of the Texas State Republican G.O.P.

Doesn't the animated category disqualify it from best picture? or is it still possible for it to get nominated for BP as well?

Season 7 right?
Not 1 E7? I realize this is just some easy, unimportant mistake (if it is), I'm just asking because I've been wondering when 7 was going to start and will be watching if it's on now.
Thanks :D

Dust Storms of Oz?
Are we going to get a movie on the poor farming practices and depression era lifestyle of the Midwestern rural folk? Because what else is there to Dorothy's life before she got snatched up in a tornado?

A lost/xfiles mixed show would be quite an astonishing accomplishment, wouldn't it? Much like reese's peanut butter cups. Peanut butter and delicious chocolate, combined into one bite-sized cup. Remarkable!

By "theme" I meant the themes those genres (not this series itself) represent/include, which might or might not appear in these stories. Frankly, I've heard enough about how bad these books are based off of the titles instead of hearing about whether the books are more than a "pun" (although the first book wasn't

I haven't read these, have you?
I can't (and won't) defend these books because I haven't read them. But pretty much every single criticism I have seen of them is based around the mashup concept- saying they are dumbing down great literary works, mere tripe elements of genre put into classics, and that these books need
