eh, I know that they're supposed to be better, but I honestly like J better without Lou.  Although Farm is probably my third favorite album of theirs.

I'd add Crazy by R.E.M.  Fretless off the Until the End of World soundtrack was awesome too.  Are We Afraid by Toad the Wet Sprocket was their best song.

This is my favorite d jr. album with green mind a close second.

The fact that she can't act at all probably had something to do with that.

I think it's still around, just sunk back into the shadows.  Those massive conglomerate companies like to make themselves known every once in a while.

He didn't seem desperate to me. He had bascially given up and almost didn't want to get into a relationship.  He had been lonely long enough that it was a numb feeling instead of pain and I think it would have been easier for him to just stay numb.

Well, I genuinely like Just One of the Guys and kinda had a crush on the main character.  The tits were just the icing on the cake.  Plus Zabka was in it and I loved to hate him.

Eh kinda.  The worst thing about those movies is you go in for the nudity, you get it, and then watch the rest of the movie hoping it happens again.  And it never does.  Kids today just don't know the struggles we had to go through to see naked women.

I knew I remembered that!  One of the more surprising nude scenes.  My 12 year self  sat through 45 minutes of that crap for a 2 sec Tawny Kitaen boob shot.

I always thought it was a Juice Newton original.

You can get from netflix but it's disc only

Well, there was Michael Cimino a few years prior to this.

Why one could have even called him a magical white man

I agree that Heart of Darkness is the longest short book I have ever read

Well, this conversation will teach me not to scroll down first.

I just started reading Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian again.   For some reason, his books are a real slog for me.  I appreciate what he does as writer and enjoy the settings, stories, and characters but really get bogged down in his weird, lengthy, and repetitive descriptions.  He seems to write like Terrence Malik

"Does He Love You" gives me chills almost every time I listen to it.

I had that too and that's why I remember voices and songs and even the cadences so well.  Theodore is the perfect Gollum, Andy Serkis does a fine imitation.  Smaug's voice is also really great.  I love how he sounded kinda like an old  badass cowboy.
