I had that too and that's why I remember voices and songs and even the cadences so well.  Theodore is the perfect Gollum, Andy Serkis does a fine imitation.  Smaug's voice is also really great.  I love how he sounded kinda like an old  badass cowboy.

"Where there's a whip *whip crack!* there's a way!"

The melody to the dwarves song about lonely mountain is much better in the R/B version then in Peter Jackson's movie.  The riddle scene with Gollum too.

The Rankin Bass Hobbit will always be the best Hobbit in my opinion.  I loved the songs, the voices, everything about it.

Wow! I didn't know anyone actually every bought Grit.  I thought it was just a pyramid scheme for 10 year olds who read alot of comics.

I  don't think anybody watched anything ironically back then.  That trend started in the late 80's/early 90's.

I kinda liked that.  Great spectacle and the part where the first  giant boulder flies over their heads and hits the mountain was pretty cool.  The "what the hell was that" factor was pretty good.

I like Winkler but he would not have been as good as Travolta in Grease.  In the 70's Travolta was awesome.  Watch Saturday Night Fever, Grease, and Urban Cowboy and tell me that's not true.

"Three Days" - Jane's Addiction
"Paranoid Android"- Radiohead ( too obvious, I know)
"impossible soul" and "Djohariah" Sufjan Stevens

So, I think this is genuinely entertaining and Watts is a pretty talented performer.  Would I listen to a whole album of this? No.  The thing that bothers me about Reggie Watts is I think he's supposed to be a comedian, but I find nothing funny about him.  Why the audience laughs every time he mugs or starts a new

The part about "the torn clothes, Becky's shattered look" always gets me
