So we now have aliens, the devil, mutants, a mad doctor and a serial killer all on the same premises, in one timeline or another. Just another episode of American Horror Story.

Well now I'm, honest to god, extremely baffled. What in there did I ignore? Really don't mean to be coming off as a troll in the least. It seems to me we just disagree here.

I think there's a pretty enormous difference between what went on with Ray (handing Patty evidence to blackmail him) and Rutger, no? You'd also think that last conversation with Patty, where she essentially tells Ellen she's become her, made things even clearer.

Yea, I also wanted to express my appreciation for recapping the show Joshua. Seemingly every critic abandoned it to the point where no one even mentioned the damn thing. So I was hugely thankful to have these every week. Incredibly insightful and giving fans a much needed forum for discussion too.

I sadly agree with the take on the series as a whole. It just never even came close to the heights of season one. And maybe they're not to be blamed because, really, with all that happened and how beautifully the pieces fit together, how do you match it? Following up on (for me) one of the best seasons of television

cub - I have a pretty big problem with this line of thinking because it implies that we're supposed to treat these two as if they represent all women of the world, which is absurd. The same thing came up at the end of season three when it was revealed that Patty brought on her miscarriage because she thought it was

Oh, I forgot about that line from Pete! Great catch. I wonder, then, if perhaps in the time since his death, Patrick found out Patty was this boss and extorted her or something? Either that or he just becomes acquainted with her in these last two. Still maintain, though, that between her dreams and the fact that they

That would've been brilliant. Though, I think “Are You Fucking Crazy?” tops them all.

Boy oh boy, what a doozy of an ending. Those airport scenes were just fantastic. They truly had me giddy. It just shows all they need to do is put these two women in a room together. And it really did overshadow everything else to the point where it's hard to care much about the case anymore.

This is a fantastic review for a fantastic episode - best of the season thus far for me. They really did hammer home the point of Ellen as a victim here and it was a great choice. Her response to potentially dropping the case of "I can't" with a sad, almost defeated look - some truly heartbreaking stuff. And boy oh

Well, when that flashback at the end of season one is shown, we do indeed see Uncle Pete saying "it's done" followed by a shot of Patty on her cell, hanging up, and then hysterically crying. They even went out of their way to show a flashback within the flashback to point to the specific reason why (Ellen's "Do you
