I guess you meant MIS-quoting.
I guess you meant MIS-quoting.
We've already heard your opinion, Genevieve.
Shit or get off the pot
I love Ghostbusters, but I'd be perfectly fine with there never being another one if they would just stop these rumors. While part of me really wants there to be a part 3, I can only hold the cautious optimism aloft for so long.
Coda
No love for the last bit? CK perfectly stutters his way into making us awkwardly imagine where he's going and then just spells out exactly the thoughts he's implanted in our heads. The guy is an architect.
Whew! I was hoping that he was misquoting since I've been using that line when people sneeze since the episode first aired and I wouldn't want to look stupid.
I usually agree with Tobias about 80% of the time, and his review dampened my enthusiasm a bit, but my girlfriend wanted to see it no matter what and I'm glad she did because we both loved it.
Scott Pilgrim
I went to it last night and was very surprised to be in a nearly empty theater. I assumed this would be a big movie among the kids and was dreading the hordes of teenagers talking and texting during the movie.
The Lockhorns.
@sarCCastro:
Fictional Couples Who Definitely Will Make It:
I'll start by throwing out Sam Malone and Cheers.
Alison Brie
She's pretty young. Try not to sexualize her, Todd.
I'm of the opinion that Breaking Bad should have been the only nominee in every category (including variety, reality, etc; you can find a way to justify any of those.) this year.
I realize there are a lot of other good shows on television, but when the best show ever on television has its best season thus far, there…
Read the Hound
No way I'm wading through all these comments, and I'm sure no one will see this, but I have to show some support for the Hound of the Baskervilles. I've read the entire canon and it's the only one I still return to on a regular basis. I'm not saying it's the best, but for me it's just an incredibly…
I'm a fan of the canon, haven't delved into any of the apocrypha other than movies, but I'd say "Monk" and "Zero Effect" are the modern day adaptations that stay truest to the source.
Thank you, AV Club!
I just finished watching "Full Measure" and this was the perfect way to decompress. Goddamn this is the best thing ever on television.
@teh dude: Yeah, I know the type. They were starting to dominate the kitchen I worked in near the end; it was one of the many reasons I finally quit.
The guy wrote the bible
While I probably won't end up reading this one, nothing can change the fact that this guy wrote the Bible for kitchen workers everywhere. When I read KC I'd been working in a kitchen for nearly ten years and I was absolutely blown away how the guy seemed to intimately know me and everyone I…
Two things that seem to be neglected here:
1. Jesse isn't quite as "low-level" as everyone seems to be implying here. The dealers may be unworthy of a meeting with the boss, but Jesse is one half of the manufacturing wing of Los Pollos Hermanos brand Methamphetamine.
@Fats Pinto: They should do an "A Very Special Episode" about that one. Tom Hanks is the most likeable abusive alcoholic uncle of all time.
Chronicles Of Camacho
As much as I love Idiocracy, I'm not so sure we need to delve any deeper into that character.
