Even if this season had been great, which it certainly wasn't, I would find the absence of Agent Pierce unacceptable. Even if the actor had died I would demand a reference to him, if not a digital reanimation. He better be in the movie.

Lamentation
It's incredibly hard for me to judge these episodes on their own merits. I started watching in Season 2 and this show has been around through some very major events of my life. In that sense, it's very hard to see it go. On the other hand, it probably should have ended after Season 5.
I've never said this before and I may never say it again, but I agree with you 100%, Todd.
Somehow you're right. I think Gilligan may have had this episode in mind when they made that one. Even if it wasn't planned, it works beautifully.
The Bad Guy
I love that this show is able to make me pray for Jesse's death one week and pray for his salvation the next without going anywhere near the "Heroes" school of "character development".
Count me in, clydeumney. You know what's up.
In Gilligan We Trust
I started out a little leery of this episode from Walt's Looney Tunes-esque shenanigans chasing the fly, but I realized about half-way through that it's just utter foolishness not to trust Gilligan at this point. The man delivers. I think this episode managed to be every bit as suspenseful and…
Ordinary fuckin' people
I simply don't understand why people aren't watching this show. I have friends who would totally love it (as any sane person with a sense of humor should), and they watch the Office and 30 Rock, but for some reason they won't try this show. I don't get it. I suppose it could be the lackluster…
They know what they did
While most of this episode was pretty awesome if you just turn your brain off (as any 24 fan is wont to do), I was holding my breath when Chloe said "there's one agent", envisioning Agent Aaron Fucking Pierce in all his glory coming to straighten things out. Then we come back from commercial to…

@Ytang: I've got to disagree with your agreement. While I felt Jesse's NA scheme was toeing the line, Skyler's speech was pure genius.
Megavideo, yo. Someone usually posts it by 2 or 3 am EST.
That scene was coming dangerously close to recalibrating the usually negligible amount I have to suspend disbelief for this show.
Skylar is smarter than all of us.
I can't believe how the writers are still able to surprise me every week. How could I not have thought of Skylar's explanation for Walt's activities before? I guess that's all part of why this is the best show on television. Walt just laying it all out there for Gus surprised the hell…
GIT OFFA MY THREAD!! I SAID GIT!!
Off the top of my head:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Dobby
Six Feet Under
It would be one of my choices, too, but I think you're misremembering. Nate didn't find out about his brain condition until well after the first episode.
Logically
I think most of the hate has to do with over-stating. I think both of those guys are pretty funny, but when people start talking about them like they're the second coming the gut reaction of the hater's heart is to become extremely douchy.
Actually, I'm really hoping for a small flashback showing Gus' past. I trust the show to do it right.
Yep. I was disappointed by that oversight.
