A, Practically perfect in every way.

John Teti, your writing is such a pleasure! I'm so glad to see these reviews again and I'd be happy to read anything you produce that isn't pop-culture related as well, if such a thing exists.

After the last two seasons I never thought I'd say this, but "Dexter is doing everything right and I'm really interested to see where it goes from here". Way to go, Dexter!

I liked him on Oz.

Apparently we are the only two in the intersection of bird nerds and AV Club geeks. Nice to meet you.

I'm not much into the commentin' these days, but just want to put out there that I still really enjoy these reviews. Keep up the good work, Teti!

I find it oddly fitting and reassuring that this timeless show also happened to use two timeless pop culture references in these episodes. They couldn't have known in the 80s that The Twilight Zone and "I Am a Rock" would still be relatable references to any minimally pop-culture savvy viewer in the 2010s. I like to

I think I'll have to see this one.

Helicopter, Bitch!

Over 30 here, but I've loved Abbott & Costello movies since I was a kid and still do.

Somehow you all seem to have missed the first appearance of the great Paul Willson in the cold open for "Someone Single…". His character here is called "Glen", but other than that minor detail he's the Paul we'll come to know and love as the living, breathing meta-commentary on how difficult it is to work new

I have to admit that I kept expecting to see (Dexter Season 4 SPOILER ALERT) Trinity's daughter topless in the next scene throughout this episode. Then I would remind myself that this is network TV and that she's still pretty easy on the eyes even with her clothes on.

Thank you for saying everything I wanted to say. I can go read something else now.

I think this is just one of those things where Disqus makes it more cluttered and impedes the flow if they don't do it as sequentially as possible. I suppose it depends on how you sort your comments.

If you're an asshole, it's not for that. It was hilarious.

I thought your review was spot-on. I still like this show, but I know there's some problems. In this situation, I like the reviewer to point out some of the problems, but not linger on them, so they can spend most of their time pointing out what's right and what has the potential to be good.
