That's my understanding. He's barely in the movie, so I'm not sure where all the love comes from. Obviously there's the mockumentary they discussed, but I don't know where that's available or how so many people on these boards seem to have seen it.

I can't believe he's 78. The Larry Sanders Show jokes about his age weren't that far off.

Thanks, I guess? Well I watched it and now I can't un-watch it. I should've muted it.
Also, I think the Steve Perry warning should be common internet etiquette like the SPOILER warning.

Promotone B.V…
Nice! The video was already removed before there were even any comments.
Who tipped them off?

Intentional or not, I like the concept of referring to "Lego" as if it's a raw material or something.

My take
I just watched it and I have to agree with Noel's review. I gave it a "B" because I thought the first half of the movie was great, but then it didn't continue in that vein, it just got bogged down in the dead child/troubled marriage stuff and ignored everything else. Very disappointing, based on the first half

the name game
Yeah, I was getting bored enough with this episode that I started thinking up TV Club names for the characters. I didn't get very far, but I'm definitely getting a Fredo Corleone vibe from Hassad's brother, so I figured I'd just call him "Fredo" or perhaps some Arab variation. Also, since we've got

Seeing as Darwin is one of my heroes
I feel compelled to watch this movie despite the universally lukewarm reviews. I just don't understand why no one's tried to make a movie about him before and how the first one could be so misguided. His life would make an amazing movie if done right and it should be obvious that

Thanks for the Gawker link, they actually cut the Bugatti Satisfaction part from the Hulu broadcast so I'm glad they had video of it there.

I'm gonna kick Leno's ass
The Good News: Once Leno's back on 11:35 everyone can go back to watching Dave guilt-free and hopefully he'll finally beat the piss out of that smug sumbitch. Unfortunately I don't have the TV and Letterman isn't available online, so I'll just have to go back to not watching Leno like I

I imagine that in this case it has more to do with writing some sort of tell-all book or talking about them in interviews, they probably won't care if he makes a few jokes.

Robin Meade. The only thing I miss about cable. She is morning wood incarnate.

Dominos Cheesy Bread
is probably my favorite food in the world. I live in a small town where we don't have close to as many food options as you city-folk, though we do have some good local restaurants, and, dammit, once every couple of weeks I get a craving for that cheesy bread and I succumb to the allure of ordering

Terry is to bears as Kim is to mountain lions?
Forgive me if someone already mentioned this as I don't have time to read the comments right now, but the whole thing with Terry's obsession with bears in the first episode made me think how funny it would be if there was a part of the season where she was menaced by a

KITH
I'm assuming TV Club will be covering the miniseries. I'm also assuming it will be available online. I find that assuming things ensures that you never run out of things to complain about.

Ooo! Now do the Swedish Chef!

AV Club haters
So is this going to be the season of Breaking Bad where we're all supposed to stop liking it? I fully anticipate some disappointed write-ups talking about how they aren't developing the characters like they used to. Prove me wrong, Donna!
