I figured he might be one of the guys who likes to comment about how bad the Simpsons is even though he hasn't watched it in five years.

An open letter
To the guy at the laundromat who switched off the Simpsons so he could watch Happy Gilmore after I already sat through NASCAR waiting for it to come on:

Tonight's Eps
Just looking at the listings for tonight and we're in for a lot of recycled material. The Simpsons uses plots from King of the Hill and Malcolm in the Middle, King of the Hill will be using one of its old plots, and American Dad is also using a fairly recent King of the Hill plot. I hope they make it

Actually that makes way more sense about Kim than Agent Hotness. Zack, make it so. (although I hope you don't have any reason to refer to Kim at all this season.)

That's just in case you have to interview her sometime, isn't it, Zack?

Along with Hedburg
I think Martin is a comedian who Steven Wright would be proud of if he had emotions.

Grimace: That's true. If we start to like things and feel happy and optimistic, then the terrorists have truly won.

Saw this a month ago too. Of course, nothing's real until I read about it in the AV Club. I still haven't actually "watched" last night's ep of Heroes since I haven't read the write-up yet.

Okay,
between this and the Andy Richter thing, it's obvious that the AV Club has been infiltrated by terrorists who are going to take out the critical hipster douchebag infrastructure of the nation by raising all of our hopes to an artificial level and then fatally crushing them like some sort of psychological version

Does ejaculation count as an aneurysm of joy?
Cuz if it does, then Nabin knows me all too well.

Sometimes I think that when we defend ZMF against allegations of trolling we're suffering from the internet comment board version of Stockholm Syndrome.

Dammit, magnus. I think you just figured out how they're going to ruin this season. I'll give Agent Hotness the benefit of the doubt, but if Kim Bauer shows up with her psychiatrist, or her plastic surgeon, or a fucking cougar, I'm out. Unless she's dating Pierce, that guy deserves some Canadian poontang after his

Damn straight! I can't wait for the episode where Pierce and Van Damme go back in time to save David Palmer. And hopefully Wayne Palmer gets killed in the crossfire.

ZMF
ZMF seems to be MIA these days, but I think he'd agree with me when I say that agent hotness is getting really annoying with her constant breakdowns and weepiness. Why can't she just let Jack own motherfuckers? Feel free to translate that into allcaps, grammar-free ranting.
Seriously though, I like the concept of

If Chloe didn't have some sort of backup after all the problems she's had with this shit before and KNOWING there were spies in the building, then she would be dumber than the last season of this show. I'm just glad it happened the way it did because no one that dumb could survive and i've grown quite fond of her.

Yeah I think that Onion article was written about the AV Club. I really do like RHCP, though.

As if a twelve-year-old would have any idea who they are. No I mean everyone I know, I seriously don't understand where the hate is coming from. Silly lyrics? Yeah, there's never been any enjoyable music with dumb lyrics.

Wow.
Perhaps being a little older and living in a small town keeps me insulated from the opinions of the greater hipster douchebag community, but I thought RHCP was one of those bands everyone liked. I guess not, but that doesn't change my opinion, the same as George Clinton: "Those boys have got the funk."
Still, that

Just want to add to the Men at Work lovefest. I was a little angered by the write-up above, of course it's low-brow, but it's a really fun movie. I'm kind of a sucker for any of those movies where the characters have a bunch of zany adventures all in one night. In fact, that's a good idea for an inventory.
I'll start

The Big Chill
was the movie that popped in my mind right away (so awkward trying to avoid sounding like a failed firstie). I never saw it but I still instantly associate Costner with playing the corpse in that movie just from seeing it come up in trivia all the time.
Anyway, some really great choices!!
