Born and bred southerner here - I've never heard "skirt" used as "beard" in my life. But, honestly, people don't seem to really know what a "beard" is either around these parts. Jess was really good this week. Her conversation with the rhino was pretty damn funny, and her reaction to Nick saying he knew she'd pick him was also great. Schmidt's plot was a bit too far away from the rest of them, but I did like how he came into Nick's room at the end and everyone commiserated together.

My DVR can't handle Tuesday comedies - I can't record all the ones I want to see. This is definitely the new Thursday Must See TV night. Fox is really doing a great job capitalizing on the New Girl appeal, I just hope they save Ben & Kate.
