I was so glad when BJ didn't actually reveal her love to Ben. I was a little worried this would start to ruin the dynamic, but man, they pulled it off - all while humanizing BJ even more.

Definitely not my favorite of the season, but still a solid showing for these guys. Johnson, as has been the case all season, really came through, especially in his denial that Jess' set-up was really "The Parent Trap." And Deschanel has been great this season too - good ep for her tonight.

I loved this episode, but I seriously wouldn't have cared one iota if they had killed someone off after the open. JOE. FREAKING. BIDEN. I might be the real-life incarnation of Leslie Knope.

I think if they kept relying on Schmidt to be the breakout it would be boring, but I really think they've started to develop the quirks of the other characters really well and push those out.
