I gasped out loud and screamed a little at the tv when she was pushed.

One of my favorite childhood movies, and this is just such a great scene. Garland nails the sadness of their situation.
It might have broken my heart a little when Kai told Nick he's not Tran's best friend. Just because Nick isn't his best friend doesn't mean he can ever go away!! Tran is absolutely the most incredible tertiary character the show's ever had. Quite possibly one of the best tertiary characters on any show, tbh.
Rogelio is quickly becoming my favorite. He and Xo play so well off each other, as well. I know I'm probably not supposed to, but I do like Jane and Rafael together. Michael was cute and sweet, but his brother saying something in the first episode about how he's not as nice as Jane thinks he is has always had me wary…
Archer would be so proud of Bob being called a Fat Burt Reynolds. I loved that line so much.
Bow's command to Dre to teach the kids work ethic by saying "do it BETTER" absolutely had me on the floor. I love all the characters, but I'm pretty sure Bow is my favorite. Her indignation at Jasmine was fabulous, and her admitting she took a scholarship away from a Pacific Islander was genius.
I say this every time I talk about Gillian Flynn's writing - the woman can write a FUCKED UP leading female character. In her other two novels, she also has extremely messed up women as important parts of the story (in Sharp Objects, there's three of them in fact). The women in her other novels are legit psychopaths,…
I won't watch this because of loyalty to Broadchurch and the amazing acting it had, but I'm excited to come here and read the reviews each week and see what differences are picked out. I have nothing against the actors, I just can't imagine anything better than the original.
I was so excited to see Michaela Watkins! I miss Jackie.
"Ma called! The bees are back!" This line itself is worth watching the episode for.
"I just want to talk." "Well I just want to dance!" Best line of the episode.
This might be one of my favorite episodes of the season. Daddy's Watching was incredible. So many good one liners too. Nathan also has a really great way of following people as they back away from him in conversations. Best part was him popping up behind the tree. "Whoop! I assume most of you are impressed by how much…
Solid episode, but I didn't think it was as good as some of the other bottle episodes they've done.
Oh my god, this is golden. The Dumb Plastic guy behind him..
The cutaway to him after the announcers in the beginning say "it's origin, and owner, are a mystery.." was probably one of the best things the show's ever done.
Agent McCall's verbal laceration of Violet was disturbing, mostly cause she is supposed to be a kid. But, she's pretty stone-cold and vicious, so it's okay in my book. Also, can't he give Melissa some money since he's staying on the couch? And, did anyone else think she was talking about a pregnancy when she said she…
Ha it took me a good 30 seconds to realize who you were even talking about. Yes! I like it.
I'm enjoying this season. I enjoyed the exchange between Liam and Mason. It reminded me of Jackson and Danny back in the day. I am super annoyed by the girl assassin, and it was awesome to see Scott knock her out.
Reading in the comments about people not loving the 'new kids' reminds me of how I felt with the new kids in season 4 of Friday Night Lights. I ended up LOVING those kids (Luke ranks up there with season 1 Saracen and Street for me), so I'm hopeful it's going to go in the way of that.
The pan to Peralta's face when Terry was putting the girls to bed was priceless. I didn't see that coming at all, and pairing it with Boyle's awe and wonderment was amazing. Another strong episode. So glad I got over my initial fear that Samburg would be too much for me to handle.
