I abhor 8 1/2….so I don't think a musical of it will do anything for me.

That's excellent news! I just started watching it on Hulu and I love it.
I agree about Anne's abuse of Jerry. That felt so out of character for Anne. The snapping was less egregious if only because of the situation that it happened in. I mean Anne does kinda snap at Mary Joe in the book…
Now I sorta want to see D D-L in a musical….because I am a monster.
That's coming to Cleveland for the Broadway Series and I am forcing my mom to use my ticket (we bought subscriptions to ensure that we get Hamilton tickets).
I need to find these shows on YouTube…..
Funny how O'Reilly is incapable of seeing that the man he seeks to celebrate was one of the massive reasons behind the growing toxicity in the US.
I'm not as in love as you are, more like in like with it, but I agree about McNulty. She was just so perfect, able to be awkward and then graceful, and perfectly fitting the description from Anne of the Island (if memory serves) that people who heard Anne was plain wondered where people's eyes were and those who heard…
I HATED the mouse thing. It just seemed so unlikely that kids in a farming community would be SO sheltered that they'd be so unaware of the birds and the bees. Plus that leads to the fact that I hated how all of the kids, except Diana and Gilbert (that slate moment sucked), were so anti-Anne. It just seems weird in a…
I have a special fondness for Thomson, which gave him the easiest hill to climb, even though I adore Richard Farnsworth. I actually thought that the main trio in this was very, very, very good.
While I watched the whole season and will likely continue, I kind of agree with you and not just because I love the most famous dramatization of the series. Yes, we know that Anne's life before GG is a horror show, but that's kinda not the point of the series. It's like the person read the series and decided that the…
I don't like the song, but the visuals are amazing. They remind me of Waterhouse.
When that scene happened I very nearly turned it off and went NOPE. That is such a bad read of the character. It's almost worse than him having a lost love from youth (although I would've been slightly ok with it had Mag Ruffman played her).
I was thinking more Virgin Spring.
I was quite verklempt when I saw the pizza picture. I am so happy that she's free. I wish her nothing but happiness.
I still get ticked off when I think about that. Fuck those people.
Yes because the world cannot exist without this garbage show.
That's a great story!
I've watched all of it now. I liked, but did not love it. Also what a weird stopping point.
What a disgusting waste of space. Glad he's gone.
