1) Fuck I'm glad this show is back. I love everything about it way too much.
2) Normal Troy and Abed were the highlight of this episode. And in that pairing I realized just how  talented Danny Pudi is, I don't even know how but his face actually seemed different, like he instantly became super hot. I don't even know……

I love this cast and Dan Harmon. It's sad how much I like this show. And I now understand that Jeff Winger/Joel McHale (not sure where one ends and the other begins) are fantasy versions of dan harmon, does that make any sense? Both share a witty, sometimes mean spirited cynicism. But Jeff Winger is prettier.

I agree. As long as a parody is funny it doesn't have to be timely. Especially not with things like Batman that have existed for such a long time and will continue to exist for years to come. I feel that Batman is ingrained in American culture by now so it's always timely.
