Cave art > All

That's nice.

What about Crisis Core? Resonance of Fate? Half-Minute Hero (originality through satire)? Final Fantasy XII? The World Ends with You?

I know what you mean…oh wait, no I don't, Ys sucks. Admittedly, Ys 7 is better than its head-bashingly frustrating predecessors, but it's still a game we've all played before. It's a shame they made it so slick and pretty, yet forgot to include ANY SENSE OF ORIGINALITY.

Don't worry Trakball, we're pretty much done. If only The AV Club implemented a PM system, this could all have been avoided. *HINT* *HINT*

I have to admit, I think most game music is so abysmal that I usually mute, or put a custom soundtrack on where possible (e.g. Diablo 2). Rarely do developers put more effort in than the usual 2-minute loop that makes me want to bash my head against the wall. I find it a real shame that more emphasis isn't put on

Castlevania rogue-like? Watchoo talkin bout foo?

*cackles* I knew you couldn't resist!

Don't you mean Ni no Kuni? That one with the hard-copy spellbook requirement?

GQ! I have 2 questions relating to Love-de-Lic I've been meaning to ask you, and without a PM system, I'll have to make do here:

@ RagingBear: why's that? Does it get too hard?

No, wait, I'm slow! Spell it out for me!

Eh? Isn't Demon's Souls all about monster bashing and levelling up?

Is that Matt Lucas, as featured in the disabled sketches in Little Britain?

That, and I believe he put the review up too early.

Pupose built, handheld-friendly PSP games > DS ports. That said, I hope Knights in the Knightmare works out.

Boo indeed, and those are both easily two of the best games of 2009!

Comte wins.

Perhaps the most successful dealer in feces?

Wait, what? Marvelous is gone too?
