Wow, I'd completely forgotten about Banyon. Loved that show and just 15 episodes. So many great shows have been cancelled after 1 season. Karen Sisco was fun too and we only got 10 episodes of that! There's no justice in this world.

5 days late and I'm the 4th comment.
Well, French films about Spanish maids have always been a hard sell.

Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think.

The idea is to drop the 'h'.
It should be pronouced "an 'istoric."

I don't believe in Dawes. I live in a tent.
I'm so sorry. I'll let myself out.

Now now, play nice you two.

Oops. Damn Disqus!

"much more modest $215 million"
Remember those halcyon Heaven's Gate years, when a mere $44 million budget was enough to sink an entire studio. Those were the days!

Entitled straight white men complaining about their place in the world goes a lot further back than the '90s. In fact the June 1962 edition of Playboy featured a panel discussion called "The Womanization of America." Naturally Norman Mailer was involved. Yes, that's right, in the era of Don Draper, American men were

Dean Cain is supporting Rick Perry in the next election. In the same vein, maybe they should hire Janine Turner to play Cain's wife.

Yeah, I'd go with Bryter Layter as well but only just. All three are great.

Is the use of historical characters going to be a regular thing?
If it is, I can't wait for The Rat Pack to come aboard and cause some mayhem!

When I saw the trailer for Branagh's Frankenstein the whole audience, myself included, gasped. Imagine my disappointment when it turned out to be two hours of Ken running around with his shirt off, shouting a lot. I liked Cleese and any film which features HBC getting her heart ripped out can't be all bad but DeNiro

Sounds painful.

I wonder what Brian Aldiss thinks about all this.
Is he involved in any of these projects?

Yikes!
People who don't like Sucker Punch are "dismissive wolves"?
Then count me as a member of the pack.
Haven't read Freedom but I'll definitely have to now, just to see what the fuss is about.

Holy Crap! That photo doesn't do Bello any favours.
