If you like the books though, this review doesn't give you any reason to think you won't like the movie. It sounds like they've captured the character pretty well (obvious height issues notwithstanding). Tasha's saying the character sucks and that's the problem.

24 may have been ruthless about only bringing in characters when they were absolutely needed, but Homeland has shown itself time and time again to be unwilling to get rid of any character, no matter how awkward it is to fit them in.
