If you're only gonna "grudgingly listen" to Norm Fucking MacDonald, then I don't even wanna know you. Donald Glover is a funny guy, but he's also 12, so he's not gonna have the stories for a classic episode.

It's completely not fair to tar all of 30 Rock with the Jenna subplot brush. That's like saying Breaking Bad is a show about a lady trying to buy a car wash.

I think it's funny that Todd is feeling guilty for not watching literally every show on television. Like there's a chorus of voices in his head going "you haven't even watched a single episode of Rules of Engagement? You piece of shit, we thought you were a professional, you're letting everyone down!"

They should have named it "The Storm In Norman".

I hate it when whiny cunts like Period Monster get mad about someone giving their opinion and start with the "ooh, where's your empirical evidence for disliking this episode, it's all subjective and therefore only my opinion should be allowed".

Cop Rock!

Yeah, except he needs to watch it with the spoilers for his own fucking show.

Yes, but when the Av Club hates something, that's when they know they've made it big. A snarky newswire post about how much you suck is the modern cover of Rolling Stone.

To be fair, it's not like the Carpenter cast looked plausible as biologists. I don't see Kurt Russel as having a Phd, unless it's in the field of being awesome.

It's the "no fun to watch" part that's the problem. Meadow was a spoiled brat too, but I didn't groan every time she was on screen.

Christian Bale still beats the animated guy if you can leave your pathetic nostalgia out of it, old man.

You guys laugh, but the venn diagram of Av Club commenters and Drive super fans is a circle, so you know he was one of us.

The Taxi Driver one makes sense, the main character does attempt to assassinate a politician.

There's something inside him, it's hard to explain.

Oh, and the article says "It was pretty awesome" so…. umm…. go fuck yourself.

Val Kilmer's Batman wasn't nearly as good as the first two (and is of course laughable compared to Nolan's ones), but I do think he was better than Michael Keaton. Bruce Wayne is supposed to be a billionaire playboy, not a reclusive art collector, and I should never feel like I could kick Batman's ass.

Wait, we can grade other commenters now?
