someone needs to edit some kind of gif of Tyrion's line about trusting Littlefinger against what happened to her Dad

Yeah, I guessed from his announcement that he didn't have a lot of time left, but I was expecting this news to come in a year or two. Juxtaposed against a vow that he'd still be doing what he loved, this news is so much more heartbreaking.

My understanding is that he was dickish—as you say, not terrible, but dickish—for years and years, and then gradually started to realize that a lot of people really didn't like him, began asking why, and got the answer back that it was mainly because he was kind of an asshole. To his credit, he seems to have at least

spacing them probably is the better choice, but it's just fun to imagine people exhaling, thinking the big shock for the episode/season is out of the way, and then somehow everything gets worse at the last minute.

GLOBAL WARMING IS COMING

Honestly, I felt worse about the puppies when I read it. The way I justified it to myself is that making the boys get emotionally attached and then forcing them to kill what they love is more wrenching than killing a stranger, but really at least part of it is probably that I like puppies more than babies.

Or kids whose fundie parents wouldn't let them go to the new movies, but who somehow managed to get their hands on these comics. Or kids whose well-meaning grandmas found a TPB of these and bought them because kids like Star Wars these days. Or ones who found these on their older siblings' shelves.

It is the cheeseburger of TV shows. There might be other food that's more complex, better constructed, etc., but goddamn is this show satisfying.

That top picture is the single best thing that's happened to me today. Probably all year, really.

The only words spoken at my viewing was a quick crack about Pokeballs when the little-girl warlock's death orb opened up. It helps to watch with folks who also hate people talking over the show. Or at least those who are clever enough to not keep repeating the same jokes.

Well, shit. I can stay home and watch Trapped In The Closet if I want to see that. $10 saved, and I don't have to bother smuggling bottles to get wasted while I watch.

hey don't be like that

Name a movie that either Kirsten Dunst or Jim Sturgess has been in that wasn't (a) terrible or (b) a good movie that they were the worst part of.

i feel old and square because now i just feel sad whenever i hear about her.

"How the fuck could he watch that and then give me the go ahead to taking my mother to this movie? How could anyone be that dumb?"

HOLDING!

It sounds so terrible that I sort of hope it gets picked up because I feel like I'd enjoy reading the hate-reviews.

Yeah, it's not a great show, and I doubt it ever will be, but right now it's a solid one. The action scenes are pretty well done, the acting and writing is workmanlike (with a few high and low points), and while I'm not really feeling the conspiracy arc, it at least feels like it'll get resolved at some point in the
